Parking access control system
- for shopping
- for business centers
A parking management that allows the owner of the solution to provide permanent entry for employees, sell subscriptions, receive payment for a one-time parking or leave guest passes.
In these case we needed to do an application that will allow a person to manage parking passes – control payments for parking or subscriptions, guest passes, duration of parking sessions.
Who applied with a project? 😊
The owner of a startup who had an idea, investors and even potential buyers, was looking for developers with similar experience. Our portfolio included relevant cases.
Target Audience 😍
Those who want to automate the procedure of using parking in residential complexes, shopping centers or business centers. Those who need to control access to a closed area remotely – logistics centers, sports stadiums, hotel chains.
Who did the solution?
We had integration with a ready-made partner solution. At the same time, we did not just take recognized numbers, but built a complex access control logic taking into account the logic of the object (closed/public), business model (for example, hourly payment/subscription only/both options). Additionally, cases of failure of system elements were processed.
Parking sessions and payments
Now the system can understand peak load hours, the duration of being in the parking lot. This information is useful for pricing and marketing purposes. For example, to understand who a typical shopping center customer is.
The application itself is quite complex from the point of view of the Backend. Cases have been worked out here when something went wrong (the Internet fell off, the number was recognized incorrectly). Special attention was paid to testing of operability and fault tolerance, monitoring of exchange queues.
Why is it cool?✌
- enter all parkings connected to Hippo Parking.
- pay for parking via the app and in the web version, using a card, apple pay and Google pay.
- enter for free with a pass.
- buy long-term parking tickets.
The administrator can
- control the number of free passes and allocate new ones for employees or tenants.
- manage fares and set free parking time.
- view statistics on parking sessions.
- reduce the cost of physical protection of the object.
