In these case we needed to do an application that will allow a person to manage parking passes – control payments for parking or subscriptions, guest passes, duration of parking sessions.

What did we need to do?
We must admit, initially the solution should have been quite simple: just entries and payments. After our research and analysis, the client realized that the first solution needed to be expanded. As a result, the requirements changed and it turned out, that a solution could do everything.

We had integration with a ready-made partner solution. At the same time, we did not just take recognized numbers, but built a complex access control logic taking into account the logic of the object (closed/public), business model (for example, hourly payment/subscription only/both options). Additionally, cases of failure of system elements were processed.

Now the system can understand peak load hours, the duration of being in the parking lot. This information is useful for pricing and marketing purposes. For example, to understand who a typical shopping center customer is.

The application itself is quite complex from the point of view of the Backend. Cases have been worked out here when something went wrong (the Internet fell off, the number was recognized incorrectly). Special attention was paid to testing of operability and fault tolerance, monitoring of exchange queues.

Monitoring the parking operation, exporting data about parking sessions for analytics, video footage from cameras in and managing the barrier in CRM will take the work to a new level. Namely, to reduce the time at the stage of accelerating the operation of the throughput system by automating all work, to increase customer loyalty by introducing flexible tariffs and selling season tickets.
Gets simplified access to parking lots for guests and automates the work of administrators, reducing the human factor in errors. He also will be able to control the tariffs, parking sessions, payments, creating passes and viewing parking statistics.
